- 5 / 5By Mike HallWe popped in here for lunch after visiting Warkworth Castle with my wife and two young children. The visit was on a Sunday therefore my wife and I had the carvery. I can say without a doubt this was one of the best carvery's I have ever eaten. I usually find carvery's bland and poorly cooked, not this time! The food was delicious and well cooked, I wish I could have eaten more. My five year old son had a burger with home cooked chips from the children's menu and was again delicious. The staff were first class and couldn't do enough for us. As our second child is two and can be picky with food the waitress was happy for him just to eat some of our carvery rather than charge us for a child's meal. The chef who was working on the carvery was very nice and appeared to have a real passion for the food he was serving. A lovely pub with lovely food.July 23, 2016
